Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are currently looking for a bright and determined person to join our Trainee Recruitment Consultant Training Programme.

The training we offer provides the necessary industry knowlege and recruitment skills so that Trainee Consultants can make the smooth transition into a Recruitment Consultant role.

The succesful applicant will have excellent written and oral communication as well as a proven work history. In addition they will be a self motivated character and a quick learner.

Please note that the role demands a high volume of telephone work and the ability to work to targets.

In addition to first class training and support the Trainee Consultant will receive a basic salary of £15,000 as well as a benefits package which includes full private healthcare, gym membership and life insurance. They would also receive 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Recruitment Consultant

As well as training Consultants in-house we are also interested in experienced Recruitment Consultants who can add something to our existing team.

If you are an experienced Consultant who is looking for a change of environment away from the “high-street” mentality, we can provide a good place to work for confident professionals who want more flexibility and support. 

Our Consultants are of the highest calibre in terms of both construction knowledge and recruitment practice. As with our trainees we have the ability and desire to train all our Consultants in the construction sector to ensure that we are able to offer experience and skill to the recruitment process. Therefore, it is not essential that experienced Consultants have previous experience in the construction industry, although this would be an obvious advantage.

Consultants must have first class communication skills and the desire to be the best Consultant in their sector. At Jigsaw we don't micro manage and therefore expect Consultants to show their own initiative and determination to succeed without the need for constant instruction and supervision. At the same time our Consultants have access to a range of training resources and support as and when they need it.

Key skills and attributes we look for include; good time management, excellent verbal and written communication skills, integrity, a self driven attitude and the ability to deliver on promises.

If you can offer these attributes and would like to discuss the role with us further, we would be very interested to hear from you. The basic salary for a Recruitment Consultant is £21,000 as well as a clear and generous commission scheme with additional benefits as previously mentioned above.

Senior Recruitment Consultant

We would also be interested in speaking to Senior Recruitment Consultants who can strengthen the Consultant team further.

In our Senior Consultants we expect an even higher level of self determination as well as the ability to show leadership and experience to our Consultant and Resource teams.

You will have experience of managing key accounts and a clear and proven history of commercial success in the recruitment industry.

The basic salary for a Senior Consultant is £25,000 plus a £3000 car allowance and commission and benefits package.

Principal Recruitment Consultant

Recruitment Consultants with a number of years recruitment experience and proven ability to work independently, but without an interest in management would be of interest to Jigsaw for the role of Principal Consultant.

The role of Principal Consultant would be ideal for someone with high earning potential and a desire to focus purely on the financial benefits recruitment consultancy can offer. Principal's would be expected to 'self manage' themselves to an extent and would have a high level of construction recruitment experience. We can offer the same high quality resource support as with any Consultant at Jigsaw and the rest would be up to you!

This senior position offers a basic salary of £32,000 plus a £3,000 car allowance, commission and benefits package. An OTE of around £50-60k would be realistic.
